Day One: Proverbs 31 Woman Deep Dive Devotional. Proverbs Woman Guide

“Who can find a wife of noble Character? She is far more precious than jewels. The hear of her husband trusts in her, and he will not lack anything good. She rewards him with good, not evil, all the days of her life.” Proverbs 31:10-12 CSB

This is a perfect example of a trustworthy and loyal woman. The intent of her character doesn’t have to be questioned. She is a true partner, and carries herself with integrity.

Although the Proverbs 31 woman is described as a noble wife, you can’t deny that once you start to read the passage, you quickly discover the heart of Jesus. You begin to see a woman who reflects the love and character of Christ, and that’s really what I want to focus on in this devotional.

The answer to becoming a Proverbs 31 woman is simple: follow Jesus.

In verses 10–12, we see how incredible this woman truly is. She is described as being more valuable than rubies, which is the very first thing we learn about her. She is a rare and precious gift. Yet, notice how her loved one is positively affected by who she is. She isn’t described as being less than and then working her way up to make someone else great. She is already great, and she uses her gifts to pour into others.

All the days of her life, she does her husband good. She produces good!

Let’s think about how we can be a reflection of the faithfulness and goodness of Christ.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,
Take my hand as I walk this journey of womanhood with You. Shape my heart until it reflects You, Father. Help me to be a producer of all things good, and when I fall short, Lord, remind me that You work all things together for my good. I love You, Lord.
